SEP signs UNPRI
Since becoming a signatory to the UNPRI in 2020, SEP continues to demonstrate our commitment to responsible investment and to developing a more sustainable global financial system.
Sustainable investing offers both an opportunity and a responsibility to create lasting positive change. We believe that driving growth and innovation aligns seamlessly with integrating sustainability into everything we do.
Our objective has always been to help build strong, resilient and sustainable businesses. We take a long-term approach and aim to create value for our investors, our portfolio companies and for society more broadly. We believe that there is a positive correlation between responsible practice and business growth, and encourage the companies we invest in to strive for best practice in all aspects of their activities, including being responsible businesses.
There are six ‘Principles of Responsible Investment’, which signatories commit to integrate within their investment practice. These cover environmental, social and governance themes and apply across the investment lifecycle, from initial analysis and due diligence through to active ownership and eventual exit. You can find out more about our Responsible Investment policy here.
