Paul Neeson
Paul focuses on portfolio management and deal support.
Paul joined SEP in 2013 and focuses on portfolio management and deal support, with a particular focus on due diligence, portfolio value enhancement, and investment realisations.
Paul works closely with many of SEP’s portfolio companies. He currently sits on the board of Peppermint Technology, provider of cloud software to the legal sector; and is a board observer at IoT connectivity management platform Pelion.
Recent realisations include international digital commerce solutions agency, Tryzens which was acquired in a private equity-led management buyout in 2023; full-service data feed management software provider, Intelligent Reach which was acquired by US based Searchspring and cloud enabled document collaboration software company, Workshare.
Paul joined SEP from Caird Capital, a UK mid-market private equity firm, and prior to that worked in the Integrated, Structured and Acquisition Finance division at Lloyds Banking Group.
He is a graduate of the University of Glasgow and holds a BA (Hons) in Accountancy and Law.
