Angus Conroy
Angus is a partner and member of SEP’s Investment Committee.
Angus joined SEP in 2012 and specialises in enterprise software businesses that drive automation and modern data management within large organisations. Sectors of focus, where the opportunity for solutions of this nature is well-established, include financial services, industrials, and life sciences.
Angus led SEP’s investments in manufacturing data platform Braincube, drug discovery software company Cresset, compliance software provider FundApps, and financial data automation specialist AutoRek; and accounts payable automation provider Springtime. He has played key roles in other SEP investments, including SAP focused DevOps software provider Basis Technologies, global payroll software provider Immedis (acquired by UKG in 2023); and scientific informatics software specialist Dotmatics (acquired by Insightful Science in 2021).
Prior to SEP, Angus was a member of Citigroup’s investment banking team. He was educated at the University of Glasgow and holds an LLB (Hons) degree in Law.
