Angus focuses on growth stage software investments.

He is particularly interested in enterprise software products that drive automation and modern data management within large organisations. Sectors of focus, where the opportunity for solutions of this nature is well-established, include financial services, industrials, and life sciences.

Angus led SEP’s recent investment in manufacturing data platform Braincube. He also led SEP’s investments into drug discovery software company Cresset, compliance software provider FundApps, and financial data automation specialist AutoRek.

Other investments include SAP focused DevOps software provider Basis Technologies, global payroll software provider Immedis (acquired by UKG in 2023), scientific informatics software specialist Dotmatics (acquired by Insightful Science in 2021), online product data platform Intelligent Reach, and language learning business Babbel.

Angus joined SEP in 2012 from Citigroup’s investment banking team.
