Who we are
We are a signatory to the Women in Finance Charter, a pledge by HM Treasury and participant firms to work together to build a more balanced and fair financial services industry. We believe that gender diversity at all levels of a workforce is key to growth and profitability for every business, large or small. We are committed to encouraging a sustainable and inclusive culture not only at SEP but also within our portfolio of investee companies, and the venture capital and private equity industry more generally.
As a firm we are committed to promoting gender diversity and have:
- Appointed one member of our senior executive team responsible and accountable for gender diversity and inclusion.
- Set internal targets for gender diversity across our senior management. We pledge to retain a minimum of 30% women within senior management at SEP at all times. We will publish progress annually against these targets. In 2018, 38% of our senior management team were female.
- Amended our policies and procedures so that levels of senior executive pay are reviewed against and linked to delivery of these internal gender diversity targets.
