SEP has restated its commitment to work together with HM Treasury and other signatory firms to build a more balanced and fair industry.

Since becoming a signatory to HM Treasury's Women in Finance Charter in 2018, SEP has made an annual pledge to support the progression of women into senior roles, set a diversity target for the firm and report on progress annually. Over 400 firms covering 1.3 million employees are now signed up to the Women in Finance Charter.

In 2024, women represented 36% of SEP's senior team, up from 33% in 2023 and exceeding the firm’s objective of ensuring a minimum of 30% female representation. The firm welcomed Sarah Roughead as Chief Operating Officer, a new key member of its senior team, in May 2024.

SEP continues to grow its Women in Tech Leadership network, connecting the inspirational women across its portfolio companies. The firm is committed to working with its management teams to attract and retain more female talent and to help bridge the gap between executive and leadership roles for women within the technology sector.
