Paul focuses on portfolio management and deal support, with a particular focus on due diligence, portfolio value enhancement, and investment realisations. He also supports on SEP’s new deal generation activities in Scotland.

Paul works closely with many of SEP’s portfolio companies and currently sits on the board of of cloud software provider to the legal sector, Peppermint Technology. Recent realisations include international digital commerce solutions agency, Tryzens which was acquired in private equity-led management buyout in 2023; full-service data feed management software provider, Intelligent Reach which was acquired by US based Springtime and cloud enabled document collaboration software company, Workshare.

Paul joined SEP in 2013 from Caird Capital, a UK mid-market private equity firm, and prior to that worked in the Integrated, Structured and Acquisition Finance division at Lloyds Banking Group.
